**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Data Owner**:

- Data types include primarily client based, sales based, revenue and expense related data
- Responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing data across all lines of business with multiple administration

systems and disseminating the results to senior leadership and parent company
- Collaborate with operational teams within all lines of business to improve data availability
- Develop new data dashboards, charts and visual aids to support decision making
- Maintain on a regular basis the ingestion of data from administration systems into data analysis tools (Salesforce,

PowerBI, PowerQuery, Excel, etc.)
- Support the creation of templates and documentation
- Handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with people inside the organization

- Participate fully as a member of the team, promote team effectiveness and contribute to a positive work

environment
- Ad hoc projects and support to the rest of the Finance Team

**Modernization Projects**:

- Work closely with the Director, Finance & Process Improvements on all data-related projects
- Work in conjunction with the Finance team to improve processes around obtaining and maintaining data to support KPI

reporting to senior leadership and the parent company
- Develop and maintain tools to support, simplify and automate processes related to interpreting data
- Provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency of business processes related to data creation
- Respond to ad hoc business inquiries

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, science or related field
- 2+ years’ work experience preferably in a financial/insurance environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on strong Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, look
- ups, and filtering)
- Experience with data languages and data visualization (e.g. PowerBI, Salesforce)
- Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention

to detail and accuracy
