Janitor

**bioLytical**is looking for its next Janitor based out of our facility in Richmond.

The Janitor will maintain a welcoming, clean, and fresh work environment. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets is a plus and have demonstrated janitorial experience to work with cleaning chemicals and supplies.

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE**
- Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets is a plus

The hourly wage rate for this job ranges from:
$19.50-$20.00
