**How does the role impact the organization?**

As AVP, Fee Based Solutions you will play a pivotal role in engaging with advisors and other stakeholders to promote the Raymond James Limited fee based platforms and support and educate advisors and Portfolio Managers on the available asset management solutions to optimize clients' financial wealth. You will be responsible for liaising with advisors to help them make the best use of the platforms for their specific needs, and to identify and implement new business opportunities within the fee based space.

**What will your role be responsible for?**
- Facilitating the growth and development of our Fee Based Platforms (Advisor as PM, SMA, Wrap & Pooled Fund solutions, Fee based Accounts)
- Staying up to date on industry leading Technology Platforms and competitive landscape
- Supporting and growing our Pooled Fund platform for PMs, a unique offering to Raymond James and a key growth initiative
- Participating in advisor recruit meetings (Home Office Visits) to showcase the RJL fee based platform
- Taking an active role on internal committees: Investment Management Oversight Group (IMOG), Private Investment Management Group Operating Group (PIMGOG) & Managed Account Operating Group (MAOG)
- Maintaining strong industry relationships with key stakeholders and industry groups
- Communicating initiatives and offerings to our Advisor network and senior leadership team
- Collaborating and coordinating senior level advisor and client seminars, road shows, branch presentations, conference calls, sales support, and other sales functions
- Representing the firm at industry conferences and applicable meetings.
- Developing and maintaining content of marketing material related to Asset Management Services
- Researching and Identifying new business opportunities that align with the strategic priorities of the firm
- Identifying and managing potential risks to protect clients, advisors and the firm.

**Education / Previous Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is highly desirable
- Portfolio Management Designation is an asset
- 5 plus years experience within an asset management or a related field
- Sales Leadership and proven track record for growth
- Experience working with Financial Advisors
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies and the wealth management landscape in Canada
- French / English bilingualism is considered an asset

- You are willing to travel within Canada up to 10% of the time.
