**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' basketball skills, including shooting, passing, dribbling, and defensive techniques.
- Conduct regular practices focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance on and off the court.
- Organize and lead team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and player progress.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players.
- Monitor player attendance and participation in practices and games.
- Collaborate with other coaches to ensure a cohesive approach to player development across different teams.
- Maintain knowledge of current basketball trends and coaching techniques to continuously improve coaching effectiveness.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in coaching basketball at various levels is preferred.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- A background in swimming is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to incorporate swimming drills for overall athletic development is encouraged.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate athletes while maintaining discipline and focus during practices and games.
- Strong organizational skills for planning practices, games, and team events.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.31-$35.47 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
