Accounting Coordinator

We are looking for a permanent, part-time **Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator **to join our team and support our rapidly growing business. **This position is 16 hours per week.**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE**:

- Process accounts payable invoices including reviewing for accuracy and proper coding
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Work closely with Project Managers/Project Coordinators on project cost reporting
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with biweekly payroll
- Follow up on outstanding customer billings
- General Finance and Administration support
- Prepare adhoc financial reports
- Other such duties as required.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM**:

- Post-secondary certificate in a Business-related field (Finance, Accounting, Administration)
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS office
- Demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Ability to work independently and work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt, undertake multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities
- Experience with accounting in the construction industry is desirable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
