**We are looking for Casual to Part-Time Laundry Attendants to join our team in Point Grey Private Hospital**
**Responsibilities**:
- Practices and maintains established standards for proper cleanliness and sanitation required by the Health Department.
- Cares for equipment, supplies and work areas and keeps equipment clean and safely stored.
- Reports defective and damaged equipment and furnishings.
- Keeps inventory in order.
- Responds to building or resident emergencies. Calls 911 to report emergencies, and documents incidents.
- Participates in facility committees and training opportunities.
**Qualifications**
- Experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
- Excellent Communication Skill by demonstrating tact, diplomacy, empathy and patience. Respect for confidentiality agreement.
- Proof of Vaccination
- Ability to take direction and learn procedures
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- WHMIS certification.
