**Forbes Bros. Ltd.** is currently looking for an experienced **Driver's/Labourer's (full-time, permanent)**to join our growing **FB Bullet** team based out of Surrey, BC. Specializing in shallow utility construction in the lower mainland, the FB Bullet team continues to see significant growth in the region. The Driver/Labourer will report to the Surrey, BC office daily and travel to project site(s) with the rest of the crew members.

The **Driver/Labourer**will be responsible for transporting designated equipment and machines as scheduled to various project sites in an efficient manner. The Driver/Labourer will adhere to all applicable safety protocols and procedures during all operations and assist crews members with routine tasks when driving activity is not scheduled.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proficiently drive and operate assigned vehicle(s), with trailer when required
- Take scheduled delivery instructions from supervisors and dispatch/execute knowing the pit and yard locations
- Loading and unloading equipment from transportation trailer, and spot when required
- Effectively chain down equipment for transportation
- Complete pre-trips and preventative maintenance as required
- Complete all required paperwork daily
- Adhere to safety protocols and policies as outlined
- Provide labor support in various functions as required by project when no driving activity is scheduled
- Ensure cleanliness of sites by routinely removing garbage and other debris
- Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Class 1 or Class 3 Drivers License with air brakes, **_is required_**:

- Minimum one (1) year of driving experience **_is required _**:

- Driving experience in the construction industry or civil construction, _an asset _
- Ability to recognize site hazards and implement hierarchy of controls to eliminate hazards with crew members
- Ability to work in field/site with travel and work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote/site work schedules
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
- Able and willing to present a valid Driver's License and an acceptable five (5) year drivers abstract
