Vars, Canada D&G Landscaping Full time

Since 1983, Vars Concrete has served the National Capital Region’s best tract home builders and private individuals for their custom homes. Our residential services consist of: concrete basements, garage floors, porches, steps, but our specialty is footings and foundations.

Vars Concrete is currently looking to hire a concrete Service/Field Technician to join our growing team. This individual would be in charge of assessing problems using a combination of expertise and diagnostic equipment, dealing with clients, creating reports and doing repairs as needed.

Hours of Operation: 7am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

**Tasks would include but not be limited to**:

- Cleaning and preparing surfaces for concrete installation by removing old materials and debris
- Installing forms for pouring concrete, such as wooden boards or metal rebar cages
- Inspecting concrete surfaces during the curing process to ensure that they are drying uniformly
- Coordinating repairs with sub-contractors, office staff and clients

**Requirements**:

- 3 years of working experience in Concrete/Construction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Valid G Drivers License with a clean abstract
