As part of our expansion plans, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager who will primarily be responsible for the coordination, administration, and communication for store construction/design related projects in Europe. This position is based is based in our Head Office in Amsterdam (remote work is currently available), and reports directly to the Construction & Design Director (located in Canada).

**What you'll do**:

- Manages all project managers in a particular region (Canada wide) to ensure a smooth project execution
- Works closely with both project managers, local architects, and general contractors to address weekly and ongoing issues
- Get familiar with the FOX/NIKE Retail operation standards and DNA and pass it on to all project manager’s, vendors, architects and general contractors
- Strong leadership and verbal communication are expected in order to succeed in this role, both internally and externally with relationship with Nike and vendors
- Develop critical relationships with Nike, trades and vendors and utilize towards project goals
- Develop the program for strategy and work for implementing the preconstruction and construction of a project
- Planning ahead for risks and problem prevention on all projects, coach project managers on these behaviours
- Oversee the scheduling, organization, budgeting and implementation in every project
- Oversee around 20-25 retail projects simultaneously
- Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and site standards are met during construction and provide performance review to project manager's regularly
- Using various construction management software (Monday and Smartsheets) for planning the smooth flow of work
- Make sure deliverables are aligned with the goals and objectives requested
- Managing day-to-day activities for the project management team
- Analyzing project data and producing progress reports
- Recruiting, training, and supporting Design & Construction Director as well as conducting regular performance appraisals.

**What we want to see**:

- 5-7 years of proven working experience in construction management
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards, knowledge in retail approval process
- Experience with construction management software packages (mainly Excel, Smartsheets and Monday’s)
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Handling of several tasks, especially under pressure
- Superb written and oral communication skills in English. French would be considered an asset
- Task oriented and self motivated and having the ability for working independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexible and energetic for delivering under a fast-paced environment
- Forward thinking and confident
- Analytical thinking
