- Implementation of GMS and ownership of lean principle
- Participates in the success of completing WSS Performance Standards and Elements annually.
- Lead, investigate and report incidents into Intelex.
- Models GM's cultural behaviors and always demonstrates the highest level of integrity.
- Maintains good working relationships and communicates with employees and management team.
- Evaluate team performance regularly and promotes continuous improvement.
- Achieves quality standards by communicating goals and leveraging resources to solve problems.
- Understands and consistently administers company policies.
- Completes administrative tasks such as timekeeping and maintain departmental records and reports.
- Trains, develops, and evaluates hourly team members.
- Promotes safety and good housekeeping practices utilizing safety management system.
- Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals and leverage resources to solve quality issues.
- Responsible for meeting LPH and A-R metrics and daily planning to meet goals and objectives.
- Participates in forward planning activities, maintains departmental Business Plan Deployment (BPD) boards, continuously improve team performance in all aspects of the business.
- Maintains prompt shipment and short lead time flow receiving.
- Maintains records to track and improve departmental performance.
- Stay informed with performance reports and costs.
- Participates and engages in providing feedback and solutions.
- Promote a healthy and positive work culture.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
