**Child Development Lead**
Number of Hours: up to 35 Hours per week

**About Us**:
Family Services of Central Alberta is a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting the well-being of families in our community. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Child Development Lead.
**Qualifications**:
Related post-secondary in Early Childhood preferred; equivalencies will be considered.
Three to five years of related experience.
Satisfactory criminal record and Child Welfare checks.
Access to reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and self-care skills.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with agency staff and clients.
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children.
- Actively work with the children and parents in programming
- Observe each child to help improve their social competencies, build self-esteem, and identify developmental delays or behavioral issues.
- Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly.
- Staff management responsibilities, including collaboration on hiring, recruitment, orientation, performance evaluation, scheduling, and organization of Childcare staff for agency programs.
- Supervise practicum students.
- Support special events for families.
- Ensure suitable staff coverage for all necessary programs.
- Ensure Childcare staff provide quality, age-appropriate activities in a safe environment.
- Complete all paperwork requirements, including timesheets, reports, personnel files, evaluations, and statistics.
