**Summary**:We are seeking a Home Support Worker to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care in Canada. In this role, you will provide essential support and caregiving services to seniors, making a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate personal care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing/showering, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
- Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed.
- Compassionate attitude towards seniors and a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour
