**Kane Aquarium - Aquatic Pets Technician**

Kane Aquarium is the largest saltwater aquatic store in Ontario. We grow corals and breed saltwater fishes in our facility. For customers, we do everything saltwater aquariums related, from set-up to maintenance and professional advice and maintenance. We are looking for someone passionate about keeping and maintaining saltwater animals, such as marine fishes, invertebrates and corals. This role will be part time to start and will have a weekly fixed schedule of minimum 40 hours, and may become full time if both parties work well together.

Minimum 2 years in the saltwater aquarium hobby, has a good understanding of aquariums eco-system.

Has a good understanding of corals and their required water parameters

Experience in full aquarium maintenance

Polite, has a positive and calm attitude on the job and does not panic

Ability to multi-task on the job while paying attention to detail

Punctual on the job sites and able to meet schedules

Able to work alone as well as on a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Fluent in english

**Skills as an asset**:
Being handy or handle power tools is an asset.

Ability to build stands, aquariums, diy aquariums equipment and gadgets is a plus.

Previous experience in saltwater aquarium store is a big plus

**Working conditions**:
Able to solo lift multiple 5gallons water bucket (whenever is needed)

Able to work Flexible hours (including weekends)

Must have a valid license and vehicle. As you will have to get from site to site when needed.
