Veterinary Receptionist

We are a friendly, team oriented, fast paced companion animal clinic looking for a driven, enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our team as a Customer Care Respresentative. Applicants must have previous experience working in a vet clinic and/or have a Veterinary Assistant diploma or a Veterinary Administration diploma. Position is full-time as well as some weekend and holiday shifts. Previous experience with Cornerstone or Avimark software a definite asset.

Applicants must be able to multitask and deal well in high pressure situations.

The position entails but is not exclusive to:

- Caring for our valued clients and their canine & feline family members
- Record keeping
- Some administrative duties
- Answering phones/booking appointments & surgical procedures
- Admitting/discharging patients
- Cash handling/invoicing
- Assisting Veterinarian/techs/groomer with restraint for procedures
- Helping to maintain cleanliness of exam rooms & clinic
- Running blood work & urinalysis samples
- Post-operative care
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 25lbs
- Some kennel work
