**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Office Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations. They will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budget development and oversight, and the implementation of financial controls and procedures. The Office Controller serves as the head of the accounting department, playing a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and supporting high-level decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Lead the annual budgeting process, create financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis to guide strategic planning.
- **Account Reconciliation**: Supervise account reconciliation processes to ensure financial data integrity and completeness.
- **Compliance**: Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- **Staff Management**: Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to ensure productivity and professional growth.
- **Decision Support**: Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- **Policy Implementation**: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to promote efficiency and accountability.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
- **Certifications**: CPA, CMA, or CIA certification is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- **Industry Experience**: Industry-specific experience is not required but will be considered an asset.

Pay: $115,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
