Hse Site Advisor

PTW is hiring an **HSE SITE ADVISOR **to join our team in Redwater, Alberta.

**GOOD TO KNOW**
- Local position or within commuting distance
- Work Schedule 5 days on and 2 days off

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
- Know and manage the site-specific safety plan. Monitor compliance with PTW's safety program.
- Monitor compliance with the client's safety processes as well as provincially legislated safety regulations.
- Participates in regular meetings with the site team and provides input from a safety perspective.
- Attends and participates in leading daily toolbox meetings.
- Supports, advise and mentors site team members with regards to HSE policies and practices.
- Ensures employees have the minimum required training and PPE.
- Ensures all hazard assessments are completed. Prepares and maintains all HSE documentation requirements for the site.
- Effectively plan, organize, communicate, and monitor progress on tasks as they relate to HSE.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- NCSO designation.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Health and Safety role.
- Excellent knowledge base of provincial OH&S legislation and regulations, risk management programs, hazard assessment and industry best practices.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Exceptional relationship building capabilities and a collaborative working style.
- Strong work ethic, good team player, enthusiastic and ability to excel in a flexible, fast paced environment.

**TICKETS REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have applicable safety tickets (CSTS-20, Standard First Aid, H2S)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
