**Restorations Second Stage Homes (RSSH) exists to support Survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking by providing long term residential housing, survivor-led peer programming and holistic care.**

**We are hiring a Residential Support Worker to provide case management for 3 residents - survivors of human trafficking - living in a second stage home in Halton Region.**
- **Position Purpose**:_

The Residential Support Worker will oversee the delivery of second-stage housing services at Nancy’s House, a second stage home in Halton Region for up to three (3) women with lived experience of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Providing case management for three residents, the Residential Support Worker will collaborate with staff and community partners to identify and address the needs of residents, coordinate services of support, and promote holistic health.

- Provide client-centred case management and coordination of services for 3 residents to overcome barriers to services and promote holistic health.
- Work collaboratively with RSSH staff and community partners to ensure delivery of a wrap-around support program for participants’ needs over the 2-year second-stage housing term.
- Provide case management support and trusted supportive relationships for residents living within Nancy’s House to meet the physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs of each program participant through the development of an individual, holistic care plan with wrap around supports to address needs and navigate a variety of supports including but not limited to: income (as applicable via OW; ODSP; etc.); legal and court services; physical and mental health; substance misuse; nutrition and wellness; social inclusion; education, skills training, and/or employment; transportation; systems navigation; financial literacy; life skills.
- Refer to and work collaboratively with external agency partners to help ensure the unique needs of each participant is addressed.
- Accompany residents to key meetings or appointments, or identify other support persons to provide transportation and/or accompaniment when necessary.
- Accompany residents on weekly grocery shopping trips in the community.
- Promote personal accountability for each participant to live in community with other residents, adhere to the program policies to ensure safety for the house, and encourage thriving in the program.
- Oversee adherence to house safety rules and participation in house chores and duties.
- Program Delivery:_
- Coordinate problem solving that will help maintain a stable and caring environment for residents at all times.
- Facilitate regular house meetings to engage and empower participant feedback to the RSSH program.
- Facilitate in-house opportunities, as appropriate, such as social or wellness activities or curriculum-based programs.
- Ensure that effective RSSH programs are in place to meet the housing requirements and standards in accordance with legislation and other provincial and municipal directives, regulations, policies and procedures while meeting the physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs of each program participant.
- Review and update written program policies and procedures on an as needed basis.
- Work closely with the Executive Director in providing necessary support and intervention for crisis situations.
- Oversee new resident screening, intake, and onboarding process; respond to community and agency housing referrals, complete participant intake assessments, finalize the intake process including participant agreements and completion of required documentation, to ensure alignment of participants with the RSSH housing program and values.
- Ensure communication of agency referral, intake, and participation guidelines; grow community awareness of the program to ensure participant alignment with RSSH’s unique program offerings and values; and address any program complaints and concerns as required.
- Facilitate Restorations’ Program Advisory Committee.
- Responsible for rotating on-call shift responsibilities with the Executive Director.
- Administrative/Supervisory:_
- Monitor monthly spending/budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility for groceries, household items, and other program expenses.
- Work with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee of the Board to assist in annual budget preparation for Nancy’s House.
- Coordinate with the Executive Director for program and facilities needs to ensure ongoing safety and maintenance of the house.
- Ensure any community partnership contracts for service and/or facilities agreements with service providers are current and up-to-date.
