**Day to Day**:

- Sourcing and merchandising grain for domestic and export markets.
- Determining grain values and pricing through ongoing market analysis.
- Interpreting market data accurately and make educated decisions.
- Reducing risk or market fluctuations through hedging.
- Supporting grain origination activities within our country elevator system.
- Communicating with customers to fully understand their business and their end usage.
- Providing customer support, answering hedge desk calls, and providing logistics support.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in an Agricultural or related business field.
- Experience working in an Agribusiness with strong knowledge of the Canadian Agriculture Prairie region, including commodities and market dynamics.
- Experience in a merchandising role is considered an asset.
- Familiar with data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to adapt to new software’s and proficient in Microsoft 365 Application Suite.
- Some travel required.
