The Dispatch Clerk is responsible for receiving and dispatching service requests for the transport of patients, charts, specimens, documents, pharmacy items, equipment throughout the hospital.

Regular Part-time

Rate of Pay: $24.70 per hour - $30.87 per hour

Hours of work: Up to 22 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of Grade 12 Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Recent, related experience using radio/dispatch equipment preferred
- Recent experience with PTS dispatch system preferred
- Demonstrated ability to attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize requests
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient family centered
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Vision, Purpose and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
