Transportation: No Public Transit Available (must have own vehicle)

**Please note our facility will relocate to Carleton Place in early 2025.

Hours of Work: 41.5 per week - Mon to Thurs 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Fri 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (hours may be extended to complete deliveries based on traffic volumes, customer distance, and customer requirements)

Main Responsibilities:

- Load customer orders (cabinets, counter tops, etc.) and secure load for safe and damage free travel | delivery | unload at residential, new home build construction site customer locations (mainly greater Ottawa)
- Operate 5 ton (manual or automatic transmission) truck in accordance with licensing and traffic rules, regulations, requirements
- Report load status, conduct daily pre-use vehicle inspection, vehicle log records, incident reports
- Responsible for vehicle care including light maintenance such as cleaning, topping up fluids, tire air pressure, etc.)
- Abide by all company safety standards, policies and legislative regulations

Other:

- Must be insurable and possess valid Ontario driver’s license - driver’s abstract required
- Will assist plant related tasks during periodic off-delivery-schedule period
- Working at Heights certification an asset
