**Summary / Role Purpose**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with other development, documentation and testing professionals.
- Writing code in Python, C/C++, C# or JavaScript.
- Testing your changes using unit and integration testing frameworks
- Contribute within our software development lifecycle by planning and completing tasks within the team’s test-driven and agile practices
- Provide regular updates of your progress, possibly presenting it to your colleagues or others at Ansys.
- Learn new things.

**Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**
- Enrolled in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python or C++. For example, if you have some code you could share with us.
- A genuine interest in algorithms and data structures, software design concepts, and programming paradigms
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and work collaboratively in a globally distributed team

**Recommended Qualifications and Skills**
- Skills in programming are desirable for this role. You will get more out of it if you can program well already or if you are willing to learn.
- If you can demonstrate your coding experience via sharing code with us that would be great. For instance, a GitHub repository that you have contributed to.
- Some knowledge of the Python ecosystem: Matplotlib, pandas and NumPy
- Experience with CI/CD. For instance, knowledge of GitHub actions would be helpful.
