- One2One Camp Counsellors

**How you’ll spend your summer**:
- Developing and delivering fun and dynamic program activities for children of all ages and abilities
- Assisting with all aspects of programming including planning, set up/take down, running programs, active participation and evaluation
- Working in a team to create a welcoming environment for all
- Providing group and/or one-to-one or support for campers with disabilities, who need assistance integrating into recreation camps
- Working creatively and cooperatively to modify and adjust programming activities to ensure inclusive participation of all children
**Qualifications**:
- Currently in high school or attending post-secondary education, with an interest in gaining further experience in child development, recreation or social services field
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Previous experience with program planning, development and implementation.
- Adaptable, patient and innovative approach to work
- Able to work at various locations across the city
- Valid CRP Level C and Standard First Aid (City of Guelph will provide discounted rate for those requiring certification prior to start date)
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset
- A Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Check will be required at the time of hiring
- Ability to respect and maintain participant confidentiality
- Full availability is required for training in June and the full summer
**Work Hours**:
**Rate of Pay**
$15.90/hr - $17.90/hr
