**Job Summary**:
The **Facilities Maintenance Worker** is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong working knowledge of various trades, including plumbing and carpentry. The **Facilities Maintenance Worker** will work both independently and collaboratively to address maintenance requests, conduct preventive maintenance, and contribute to the overall safety and functionality of the premises.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, troubleshooting, carpentry work and painting.
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors to complete larger projects and major repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance requests.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing and carpentry,.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
