Kidtopia Children’s House is a warm, welcoming early learning center in North Burnaby that embraces a play-based, child-led philosophy rooted in art and nature. We are currently looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Educator (ECE or IT-certified) to join our Infant Toddler classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

- Valid ECE or Infant Toddler (ITE) certification recognized in BC
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with children under 3 years old
- A genuine passion and willingness to work with infants and toddlers
- A warm, cheerful personality with a collaborative, easy-going attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Position Details:

- Wage: $20.5-$23/hour + Wage Enhancement (WE)
- Start Date: September 2025
- Type: Full-time
- Location: North Burnaby - Hastings Street & Sperling Avenue
- Program Philosophy: Play-based, child-led curriculum integrating creative arts, nature exploration, and meaningful connection

**Responsibilities**
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
- Foster a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational strategies and support children with diverse abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities and developmental milestones.
