**What you can expect to do here**:

- Assist with a wide variety of tailings or water embankment dams and waste rock spoils projects, including field investigation, laboratory testing and interpretation, design and construction, geotechnical analysis, and dam safety inspections and reviews
- Complete geotechnical analyses including stability and seepage for mine waste or water embankment dams and waste rock spoils under the direction and supervision of intermediate and senior engineers
- Complete geotechnical investigations including test pitting, drilling, and cone penetration tests
- Complete soil laboratory testing
- Complete daily inspections and contribute to sections of technical reporting under the direction and supervision of intermediate and senior engineers
- Participate in and promote a safety-first culture

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- 0 to 2 years of relevant (post-degree) experience working in a consulting engineering or mining industry environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Strong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence
- Be diligent and hard working to deliver high quality results
- Can prioritize time and demands
- Eager to learn, be challenged, and grow your career
- Commitment to safe work practices for yourself and your colleagues
- French or Spanish language skills would be an asset
