**Laundry Attendant**

Welcome to **Quality Inn**, one of the best places to stay in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We are located close to the action and one of the most centrally located places to visit. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Washes, dries, and folds the hotel linens according to the specifications of the laundry equipment and chemicals.
- Assists in the stripping of soiled linens from guests’ rooms. Stock fresh linens in the appropriate areas.
- Ensures hotel equipment, such as washers, dryers, and chemical dispensing systems are maintained properly and secured.
- Ensures cleaning supplies and chemicals are used correctly and all bottles are properly labeled in accordance with the chemical policy.
- Ensures the laundry area is kept clean and lint free.
- Assists in the inventory of linens on a monthly basis. Properly disposes of linen that does not meet company standards. Maintains a record of disposed linens.
- Provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond to the hotel’s guests.
- Communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of linens and any maintenance issues.
- Provides safety and security for the hotel and its guests.
- Provides input and ideas on the operation of the hotel. Participates in training initiatives and skill development.
- Completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates.
- Accurately stack, count, and load clean linens into laundry bins in an efficient timely manner.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Must be reliable and flexible with schedule.
- Housekeeping or laundry experience highly preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with others.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment with co-workers, managers, and guests.
