**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Bicycle Technicians must perform all of the following duties:

- Provide customer service
- Provide information to customers
- Resolve customer or public complaints
- Report problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages to Supervisor or Ownership
- Set an example for younger employees and new hires
- Hold responsibility for your own job performance
- Continually look for ways to increase efficiency of work improvements
- Be available for special assignments as directed by ownership
- Support other departments when called upon to effectively operate store (ie. hockey stick & skate blade replacement)
- Adhere to safety procedures (wear safety glasses when operating grinder)
- Estimate time or cost for installation, repair, or construction projects
- Determine installation, service, or repair needed
- Process work orders for all work done and products installed
- Execute work orders as stated
- Maintain repair records
- Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
- Adjust or set mechanical controls or component perform safety inspections in industrial, manufacturing or repair settings
- Inspect all bicycles thoroughly before test rides and sales
- Align or adjust clearances of mechanical components or parts
- Install tires
- Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components
- Straighten wheels.
- Install, repair, and replace equipment or accessories, such as handlebars, kickstands, lights, and seats, etc.
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
- Estimate or quote prices, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Assemble new bicycles
- Maintain displays of store merchandise in shop to effectively present products
- Maintain shop cleanliness of shop by mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc., as required
- Maintain cleanliness of products
- Openly share your knowledge with other staff
- Create, implement, and communicate any procedures you think will make B&P Cycle more organized and profitable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
