**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Middle Eastern dishes, including but not limited to: kebabs, shawarma, mezze, rice dishes, stews, breads, and dessert
- Develop and refine recipes to maintain authenticity and consistency
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in Middle Eastern culinary techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area according to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to create a culturally rich dining experience
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Middle Eastern Chef or in a similar role
- Deep knowledge of Middle Eastern ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
- Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on training preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of halal food preparation (preferred but not required)
**Preferred Experience**
- Experience in high-volume settings
- Bilingual in Arabic and English is an asset
- Experience with menu development and kitchen cost control
Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour
