Job Title: Hycorr Rotary Die Cutter Machine Operator

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Major Intersection: The East Mall and N Queen St

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Shift Timings: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Afternoon)

Pay rate: $27 /hour (Depending on experience)

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and calibrate the Hycorr 6-Color Rotary Die Cutter machine according to job specifications, including material type, dimensions, color requirements, and cutting/die patterns.
- Load and feed corrugated cardboard material into the machine's feeder system, ensuring proper alignment and consistency.
- Monitor the machine's performance during operation, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that may arise, such as jams, miss feeds, or equipment malfunctions.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain optimal production speed and product quality.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure a steady flow of materials and finished products to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to keep the machine in good working condition.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications, making adjustments as needed.

**Job Requirements**
- Strong technical experience in corrugate converting, preferably with 5-6 color printing.
- 1-2 years’ work experience as a Rotary Die Cut Machine Operator
- Must be able to communicate in fluent English both verbally and in writing.
- Must have basic math skills and be able to use and read a tape measure.
- Able to interpret variety of instructions in the Factory Ticket.
- Able to define problems, collect data /facts and draw reasonable conclusions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
