Electrical Draftsperson

Dependable Truck and Tank Ltd. is looking for an Electrical Draftsman/Woman to plan and complete electrical writing layouts, schematics and BOM lists for custom Highway Tanker vehicles. These vehicles will be carrying dangerous goods such as petroleum and propane.

Supplementary knowledge of other software tools to create electric wiring and mechatronic schematics and wire routing plans is considered an asset.

Minimum 2-years hands on experience working with electrical wiring on commercial vehicles is considered an asset.

Experience in CANbus and Multiplex communications on commercial vehicles is not a requirement, but also considered an asset.

Needs to have a good understanding of the SAE J1127.

Must be able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment and be able to take criticism.

Proficiency in mathematics and the physical science that governs electricity also considered an asset.

Education Requirements: Secondary School + Electrical Design Technician or Electrical Engineering Technician Certificate from an Ontario College or equivalent.
