**About the role**
We’re a community health support organization serving home
- and community-based programs across Surrey. We’re looking for a detail-driven **Payroll Specialist** to own end-to-end payroll for a mixed workforce (full-time, part-time, casual, and unionized staff) and to be a go-to partner for HR and Finance.

**What you’ll do**
- Process full-cycle, multi-entity **bi-weekly payroll** (hourly + salaried; shift premiums; stat holidays; call-outs; mileage/expense payouts).
- Maintain employee records, timesheets, and accruals; reconcile pay cycles and prepare GL/journal entries.
- Administer benefits and leaves; produce ROEs; year-end **T4/T4A** and summaries; support audits.
- Handle CRA, WorkSafeBC, EHT remittances; resolve pay inquiries with empathy and urgency.
- Generate payroll/benefits reports for leaders and support continuous process improvements.

**What you’ll bring**
- 3+ years’ Canadian payroll experience in a high-volume environment; healthcare or social-services experience is an asset.
- Hands-on with one or more of **ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, Payworks** (or similar).
- Working knowledge of BC Employment Standards and federal payroll legislation and comfort with union pay rules.
- **PCP designation** (or working toward it) from the National Payroll Institute.
- Advanced Excel skills; accuracy, confidentiality, and a service mindset.

**Nice to have**
- Experience supporting community health/home-support programs.
- Exposure to benefits administration and disability/abilities management.
- Report building and GL reconciliation skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $64,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
