Guest Services Agent

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Ensuring the smooth daily operation, while maintaining high levels of guest service
- Handling of guest comments and complaints ensuring guests needs are met
- Adhering to the code of business conduct
- Being responsible for cash float
- Ensuring inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
- Maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment
- Working shifts as business levels dictate
- Training on the latest software and equipment
- Responsible for seeking feedback from all departments in the hotel
- Monitoring inventory, room types, and categories
- Maintain a safe and hazard free work environment
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
- Other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous Property Management System experience required
- Must be able to type 25 words per minute
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must be available for Days, Evenings and Weekends.

**Job Types**: Part-time

**Salary**: $14.15-$15.00 per hour

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: $14.15-$15.00 per hour
