**About Us**
Treewalk is a boutique advisory practice based out of downtown Vancouver specializing in financial reporting for public companies. We offer public company clients a complete service package to assist them in timely and accurate disclosures, including contract Chief Financial Officer (CFO) services. Treewalk also has private company clients that plan to go public or to sell the Company. Our clients are from all industry sectors and are issuers on the TSX-V, CSE, NASDAQ, and OTC.

**Typical Duties and Responsibilities**
- Bookkeeping for multiple public/private clients in various industries in both Canada and the US including AR, AP, bank transactions, reconciliations, GST filings, journal entries, etc.
- Maintaining organized e-records of all invoices/statements
- Dealing with foreign exchange transactions
- Assisting in providing documents for our clients' audits. We work with many of the mid-size accounting firms in Vancouver.
- Preparing working papers for financial statement line items
- Supporting various projects and administrative tasks as required

**Qualifications and Next Steps**
- 3rd or 4th year Accounting Co-op Student - (Current enrollment in your institution's co-op program is a requirement for this position)
- Completion of several financial accounting courses
- Desire to pursue a CPA designation is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of commitment to meeting deadlines and providing quality work
- A good attitude and open to feedback
- Basic knowledge of Excel and the willingness to research how to use certain formulas if unfamiliar. Willingness to learn.
- Bonus if you are good with formatting documents in Word and/or have experience with QuickBooks
