It is challenging work, and we are always looking for bright, new people to build on our reputation. **Responsibilities**: Main Responsibilities: - Create content for Ivey’s social media including video, images, graphics, and copy for Ivey’s corporate social accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter - Assist in developing communications and content for Ivey’s 100th Anniversary celebration initiatives - Research social media best practices and make recommendations to the Communications team - Assist the Communications Team with other projects including (but not limited to), Ivey News stories, media releases, research, and graphic design - Qualifications**Education**: - Must have completed 6 undergraduate terms - Must be a full time student at Western (enrolled in minimum 3.5 courses), and expect to retain full-time student status for the duration of this appointment **Experience**: - Previous directly related experience Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Proven ability to create content for social media with emphasis on Instagram and TikTok - Experience with design and content creation tools such as Canva and the platforms’ in-app tools is a must - Experience with other graphic design and/or video editing software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) is an asset - Energetic individual who is comfortable engaging with students, staff, alumni, and other Ivey community members to create compelling content - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-starter who can work independently **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
