**How You’ll Make an Impact**:We are looking for an Intern/Junior Accountant with an interest and desire to gain experience in an e-commerce business Reporting to the Controller, you will support the Finance and Accounting team. This is a 6-month full
- time temporary position out of our Head Office in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Duties include carrying out the day-to-day activities of the Finance and Accounting department, including
- Performing accounts receivable and payable functions including entering bills and making cheques
- Supporting the costing and inventory management processes
- Working in our ERP, Microsoft Business Central Dynamics 365 System
- Assisting with General Ledger Accounting, Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Demonstrating strong Excel skills to create and analyze reports
- Following SOP’s and assisting with other duties as assigned by Controller and CEO

**Who You Are**:

- Currently enrolled in your final year of, or graduated from, a post-secondary Accounting program
- Completed and attained of a minimum of 80% in Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting courses
- Knowledgeable in accounting principles for e-commerce
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Suite programs
- Working knowledge of Power BI is an asset
- Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics suite of products (Navision /Business Central, Great Plains); experience using Avalara is an asset
- Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail
- Self-directed learner who can manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial, but is not shy to ask for direction when needed
- Team player with excellent people skills
- Possesses a passion for consumer electronics and an entrepreneurial green-light mindset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
