**The Role**:

- _**We are currently hiring Health Care Aides to work in Lacombe**_
- _**Shifts are typically: 7am-3:15pm, 3pm-11:15pm, and 11pm-7:15am. You do not have to be available to work all three types of shifts in order to apply You work the shifts that best fit your schedule.**_
- You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
- You will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
- You will provide support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
- Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
- Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, done within the last 6 months
- Proof of a negative TB (Mantoux) test, done in the last 6 months
- Proof of at least two COVID-19 vaccinations
- A copy of their active Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
