Field Lube Technician

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work safely to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them
- Perform scheduled lubrication, greasing and routine maintenance on heavy equipment and components
- Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups according to service schedules
- Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, or damage and report any potential issues to the Shop Foreman
- Diagnose mechanical problems and suggest appropriate repair actions
- Assist in mechanical repairs when required to minimize equipment downtime
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure repairs are completed thoroughly
- Ensure tools, equipment, and the lube truck are stocked and maintained in a clean and safe condition
- Train operators on proper maintenance and greasing of equipment
- Communicate with division foreman on timelines regarding downtime
- Maintain a high housekeeping standard

**Skills**
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with Q endorsement (3 years of experience) with acceptable drivers abstract
- Previous experience in producing high-quality work with maintaining a variety of heavy equipment
- Problem-solving skills with a strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks in various weather conditions
- Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Use of a cell phone with the ability to be trained on multiple apps

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
