Lopes Limited is looking for an **Industrial Nester.**

**FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Nesting Parts and Completing Workorders
- Read and interpret engineering and construction drawings
- Performing material take-offs from construction drawings
- Developing project sketches, designs, and drawings
- Preparing of proposal, working and as-built drawings based on job specification
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Completing documentation packages and drawing sets
- Communicate with the project team design concerns or potential efficiencies
- Preparing drawings from physical samples
- Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years of experience in Nesting (structural or mechanical/platework) - Omniwin, SDS, Steel Projects is an asset
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD & Inventor latest versions.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge working with and editing PDF files
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work both independently and in a team atmosphere
- Problem solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and driven to achieve customer satisfaction goals and targets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coniston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
- drafting: 1 year (preferred)
