We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient operations. **Duties**:
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) such as Aimiso & Motive
- Monitor and manage driver schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize routes and maximize efficiency
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise during transportation, providing quick resolutions
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
- Utilize phone systems to communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a dispatching role within the freight, logistics, and crane rental is preferred
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) such as Aimiso & Motive
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures
- Typing proficiency for data entry purposes
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
