This role serves as an entry point into the restaurant industry, offering involvement in its behind-the-scenes operations. Flexibility in scheduling is required, accommodating shifts during days, evenings, and weekends. Ultimately, you'll contribute to a cohesive team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Gather used kitchenware from designated areas
- Systematically load and unload the dishwasher
- Hand wash specific items such as large pots and sheet pans when necessary
- Properly store cleaned dishes, glasses, and equipment
- Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak periods
- Ensure utensils and bowls are set up for each service
- Regularly monitor dishwasher chemical levels
- Manage cleaning supplies and notify the chef or sous chef of any needed items
- Monitor washing machine performance and report technical issues promptly
- Dispose of garbage as needed
- Sanitize kitchen surfaces, including floors and walls
- Receive, inspect, and store deliveries as required

**Skills**
- Prior experience as a dishwasher
- Familiarity with industrial washing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as required
- Strong time management abilities
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation protocols
- Supportive of a cooperative and friendly work environment
- Availability for varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
