**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Readies patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, & prepping patients.
- Assist dentist in all phases of dental care, dental treatment, pre and post operative care.
- Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
- Take both digital x-rays and patient photos once required and needed.
- Take and document patient dental history, dental records, reports, and clinical notes, as well as overall health and medication history.
- Provides information to patients by answering questions, inquiries, and requests.
- Book patient appointments based on the dentist's recommendation and requests.
- Review the schedule regularly and complete all needed chart audits as instructed by the dentist.
- Periodically set up and sterilize exam rooms and equipment, in accordance with universal safety precautions and other safety standards.
- Review the schedule and assist team members when you may be needed.
- Manage the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills & excellent presentation skills.
