We looking to appoint a **Volkswagen Service Technician** to join our team. **Key Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of a **Volkswagen Service Technician** include, but are not limited to:
As Automotive Service Technician, you will inspect, maintains and repair automobiles that run on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels like ethanol. You will execute basic care maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes, diagnosing complex problems, and planning and executing vehicle repairs.

**Duties**:

- Inspect and test to check whether systems and components are secure and are working properly.
- Liaise with Shop Foreman and Service Manager for direction when required.
- Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive as required, in accordance with Volkswagen service repair specifications.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
- Advice customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
- Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Stay abreast of training and learning modules.
- Other duties as required

**What you bring to the role**

The key skills and qualities of a **Volkswagen Service Technician**:

- Valid Automotive Service Technician trade certification, Red Seal 310S or 3rd level Apprentice training.
- Direct work experience in automotive repairs and service with luxury vehicles.
- Extensive knowledge of different automobiles and their service needs.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic equipment.

Pay: $32.00-$39.00 per hour
