**Job Overview**
Stele Concrete and Asphalt Inc. is a highly rated and well-established concrete and asphalt company in Edmonton. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality, durable, and beautiful concrete and asphalt solutions. We need a skilled and dedicated Form Setter to join our concrete operations team on residential and commercial flatwork projects. **This is not an entry-level position.** As a Form Setter, you will play a crucial role in preparing sites for concrete pours, ensuring the accurate and precise formation of concrete structures.

**Duties**
- Accurately set up, align and dismantle concrete forms for various structures such as steps, slabs, driveways and patios.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics and construction plans to ensure forms are built to exact specifications.
- Measure and cut lumber, plywood and other materials to construct forms.
- Ensure forms are clean, lubricated and ready for concrete placement.
- Collaborate effectively with concrete finishers, pour crews and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Routinely inspect forms to identify and address any issues.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures on job sites.
- Help with site preparation, clean-up and other duties as needed.

**Experience**
- **At least 5 years of proven experience as a Form Setter in concrete construction is required, including some experience with flat concrete work.**:

- Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and materials.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to form setting.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that come up during the project.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Edmonton, AB (required).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

- Edmonton, AB T5T 1L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
