**Job Summary**

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician who will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and life safety systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing repairs, and providing technical support to clients. The technician will work on fire suppression, security, and communication systems as part of a dynamic team. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and industry knowledge are essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- The fire alarm service representative will be required to assist with duties of maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems and other life safety systems as required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose fire alarm system faults.
- Perform routine maintenance on fire protection equipment.
- Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Certification in CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) or equivalent (preferred).
- Knowledge of NFPA codes, Ontario Fire Code, and CAN/ULC-S524 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.Proficient in the use of computers
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
- Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
