The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Quality Control team, ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the plant level, and supporting multiple plants as required. They coordinate activities of team members involved in material testing, product inspection, and process audits, while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. The supervisor provides leadership to systematically monitor quality regulations for products, processes, and employees, aiming for optimal results with mínimal waste and resource input.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain a safe working environment, align with safety regulations, ensure efficient and safe equipment and processes, support the creation of HAA and SOP, and promote cooperation among workers and employers to protect health and safety at the work site.
- Foster team development, coach and mentor employees for high engagement and productivity, enhance performance and output, provide task prioritization, remove obstacles, oversee hiring, and mentor quality control team members.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and other departments to develop and update technical work instructions, support implementation of Quality Assurance initiatives, and conduct non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Perform inspections and audits, manage NCRs and CAPAs, analyze quality KPIs, oversee equipment calibration, and address production issues. Additionally, investigate customer complaints, review tank packages, develop SOPs, conduct supplier inspections, and provide support across multiple facilities and teams.
- Support Best in Class Cost Saving program and Lean best practices.
- Manage and execute quality-related projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and determining project feasibility and priority based on performance and cost justifications.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Minimum 6-10 years of prior experience in quality assurance/control in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience managing and leading a team is required.
- Holding Bachelor’s degree / Diploma.
- Previous experience with Quality Management System
- Ability to write detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Training and experience in ISO9001 and quality system audits
- Outgoing and expressive individual with excellent communication and team building skills.
- Solid knowledge of quality principles, program requirements, best practices, regulations, and codes.
- Results oriented and driven to succeed.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and training skills.
- Ability to travel within North America.
- ISO9001 Auditing Certification, preferred
- Greenbelt Six Sigma Certification,
