**Here’s how you will make a positive impact on a day-to-day basis**:

- Plan, implement, and evaluate activities and experiences to meet individual and group needs of all children and families of a childcare program.
- Guide and care for a group of children ages 3 months to school age
- Encourage learning and develop positive self-concepts for children
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment for children
- Maintain effective and cooperative team work and communication
- Maintain positive and supportive relationships with parents and families

**In addition to being a wonderful and positive person & team player, you must have**:

- Licenses & Certifications**:ECE Infant / Toddler** | Childcare First Aid | Food Safe
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
- Strong knowledge and awareness of:

- Emergent curriculum and the BC Early Learning Framework
- Developmental needs of children
- Family engagement strategies and parenting issues and needs
- Guiding and caring strategies
- Knowledge of broader child care field and its role in the community

**Additional skills and experiences may include**:

- Special Needs certification & license (or working towards it)
- Child care experience working in an inclusive child care setting
- Second Language

**Terms of Employment**:

- Salary: $25.44 per hour plus benefits + $4 per hour ECE Wage Enhancement
- Regular full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- You will work at multisite locations for all of programs, Infant/Toddler/3 to 5 programs.
- Starting: As soon as possible
- COVID-19 vaccination required (minimum two doses)
