As a Concierge at Hound House Toronto, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the front desk operations, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient administrative tasks. From welcoming and checking in members and drop-in customers to facilitating transactions and addressing inquiries, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional service and support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage entrances and exits, checking members and drop-in customers in and out promptly.
- Facilitate doggy daycare reservations and drop-off/pick-up as needed.
- Process transactions for drop-in days and shop purchases through the POS system.
- Assist with setup and cleaning of the park or café area, coming in 30 minutes before opening or staying 30 minutes after closing as required. Note, that you will not be opening and closing during one shift.
- Ensure a welcoming and organized front desk area at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in customer service or related fields, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in using computers, apps, and POS systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service to customers.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A love for dogs is mandatory

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in a similar role within the hospitality or pet care industry.
- Knowledge of dog behaviour and care practices.

**Additional Information**

This position is part-time and paid hourly. Hours may vary based on business needs and will include evenings and weekends as we are open 7 days a week. Our hours of operation are 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. As mentioned, for opening shifts all employee shifts start 30 minutes before opening and for closing shifts all employee shifts end 30 minutes after closing.
