We are looking to add an Operations Superintended to our team
**Responsibilities**:
**Safety**
- Must have an absolute commitment to safety to ensure that mitigating risk to our employees is paramount.
- Lead by example to ensure that all field crews are operating in compliance with the IHSA and OSHA legislation.
- Ensure that all employees are conducting, completing, and actively participating in weekly safety meetings, FLHA’s, JHA’s and weekly/monthly inspections.
- Manage day to day operations to promote safety, quality, and performance.
- Manage and communicate all accidents and incidents and have accountability for all reporting into the Operations Manager.
**Production**
- Manage day to day operations to promote safety, quality, and performance.
- Manage all field crews to support a strong and consistent structure for the scheduling of manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure all field crews are equipped with all necessary safety devices, tooling, and equipment to effectively execute their positions.
- Ensure that daily production reports are thoroughly completed daily.
- Establish daily production targets and action deficiencies.
- Overall management of job tasks, schedules, and client relationship.
**Administration**
- Managing purchased orders, packing slips, expenses, logbooks etc.
- Daily 3:30pm scheduling calls with project management.
- Daily 6am crew dispatches from the yard.
- Conduct and support all OSHA legislative inspections.
- Attend annual and industry related training sessions.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the construction industry as Superintendent.
- Must be able to manage multiple sites and locations within 150km of the GTA.
- Familiarity working alongside unionized individuals is considered an asset.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clear drivers abstract.
- Must have effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on business processes.
