Shipper/receiver

Brouwer Kesmac is a manufacturer of Turf Equipment, both heavy and light duty equipment, located in Keswick Ontario. We are a full manufacturing facility from fabrication of sub assemblies, welding and paint, to complete sod harvesters.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Offload, Receive, and Inspect all inbound materials
- Uncrating, unpack, and assembly of the product as needed
- Compare received merchandise and packing list accuracy to what was physically delivered and ordered.
- Ensure receiving documents are entered into ERP system correctly
- Identify any shortages and/or damages and report to appropriate parties
- Reading/ comparing/ measuring parts to blueprints when receiving
- Forward paperwork onto correct department(s)
- Ensure received material is clearly marked & allocated to proper location/ bins (both finished goods and WIP)
- Work with co-workers to move material into appropriate locations for storage/ production
- Prepare BOL document for local GTA Shipments.
- Pack, wrap and stage outbound shipments according to shipping/ production schedule
- working with Transportation Coordinator(s) and Production manager.
- Load LTL, full truck loads and containers for overseas customer orders
- Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Maintaining area in a neat, tidy and orderly fashion
- Computer literate and willingness to learn; working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel & outlook)
- Teamwork; Working with multiple departments and people throughout building. Must be a team player and able to communicate clearly and professionally (both written & verbally)
- Always Maintain a clean and safe working environment

**Advantages**:

- Pay Rate for this position is $18-$24 dependent on experience
- Working hours Monday through Thursday 7am-4pm and Fridays 7am-3pm.
- Permanent Full-time hours (41.5 hours per week)

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years previous experience Shipping/Receiving in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse
- Must have computer skills o Familiar with ERP systems and outlook o Basic working knowledge of word an asset
- Forklift certified with warehouse experience
- Ability to work in a team environment, or independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexible and dependable; Able and willing to work extra hours if /when required
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Good with numbers
- Must have valid driver’s Licence
- Experience with or handling heavy machinery is an asset

**Working Conditions**
Physically demanding job. Normal working conditions for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing, walking, carrying, stooping, crouching, sitting, grasping and reaching, May require lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to
50lbs. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to, steel toe footwear, eye, ear and hand protection.
