**Telecommunication Technician**

**Job Overview**

Vink Networks Cable Inc. is looking to hire 2-4 telecommunication technicians to work in the Sarnia area. Must be able to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment in the telecommunications industry.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Installation and repairs of aerial and underground fibre and coax plant and equipment.
- Installation of pedestals and panel boxes.
- Fibre splicing and troubleshooting.
- Underground service wire replacements and repairs.
- MDU rewires
- Directional drilling
- Excavation and trenching
- Daily maintenance of machinery and vehicles.
- Available to work in all weather conditions
- Maintain a professional image and attitude
- Maintain a high standard of work Other duties as required
- Basic courtesy, diplomatic abilities and a pleasant demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers

**Qualifications**
- Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred but not required.
- Team player with the ability to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment.
- Punctual
- Able to work alone if needed.
- Familiar with hard labour and long days.
- Valid G license
- Class A or D license
- Own transportation

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
